"Inventing Fuller" exhibition at University of Arkansas

Currently showing at the Fay Jones School of Architecture, University of Arkansas is "Inventing Fuller," an extensive exhibition of drawings, prints, and sculpture by noted inventor, humanist, philosopher, architect, and futurist, R. Buckminster Fuller. Organsized under the direction of Dean Peter MacKeith (formerly of Washington University) and Elysse Newman, head of architecture, the exhibition presents Fuller and his work as pivital precursor of current thinking in integrated design. The exhibition includes works loaned by the Carl Solway Gallery, Cincinnati, Atrium Gallery, St. Louis, and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Peter Raven, President emeritus of Missouri Botanical Garden, who is also an internationally recognized environmentalist, will be presenting a lecture prior to a Public Reception on Monday, February 29, at 5:00 p.m.

Atrium Gallery

Since 1986, Atrium Gallery, in St. Louis, Missouri, has presented works by strong regional and national contemporary artists. The gallery features paintings and sculptures with an emphasis on large-scale work. Represented are several artists of international origin - European and Latin American - and other artists as well, who actively show abroad.
